Day 62 – Change of Scenery

I got on the bus in SJ and had a nice sleep as we made our way to LA. Once in LA it was about a 2.5 hr wait before getting on a bus to Anaheim. Once in Anaheim it was about a 20 min walk to my hotel, which is near Disneyland. Well after complaining that the California weather wasn’t that warm, it was a different story today, quite warm out.

Angel Stadium is about 2.5 miles east of Disneyland so I made the walk finding a place to eat along the way. One of the things I noticed was quickly the area changed from Commercial to Residential. One minute I’m walking along seeing all these hotels and restaurants and then a block later it is completely residential. You would never even know you are only a few miles away from Disneyland.

Angel Stadium is pretty nice, nothing spectacular. I like the rock pile they have in the OF. They had some ok fireworks after the game.
