Day 148 – Injury Delays

I don’t mean to sound disrespectful but the Red Sox should not have been allowed to leave Ellsbury in the game after his injury. The delay lasted about 10 mins which is unacceptable. If the player isn’t ready to continue in a couple minutes then he should be taken out of the game and replaced. Just because they are the Red Sox they should not get any special treatment. The umpires did not even go out there and warn them to hurry up.
