Day 95 – S’more Bagel

Did a little experimenting for breakfast this morning. We still had a little bit of chocolate left over from last night so I made myself a s’more bagel. What a great way to start the day, bread, marshmallows, and chocolate.

After breakfast we walked down to the beach to go for a swim and since we were too cheap to buy shower tokens wash up. Well the only problem was the water was freezing, so it was a very quick get in, wash and get out.

Once we finished packing up the campsite we made our way in to SEA and did some shopping (well my friend did anyway, I just browsed). After grabbing something to eat it was off to the ballpark.

Got some rain tonight during the game so they had to close the roof during the game. SEA’s retractable roof just covers the field; it doesn’t actually enclose the stadium. The sides are still open.

Still a # of Cdns at this game but significantly reduced from either of the 1st 2 games since the holiday has passed.

After the game we drove back to my friend’s place in Burnaby.

So that ends my camping experience for this journey. It was a very fun change from the hotels and I owe a great thanks to my friend for organizing it.

Here are a couple pics of Deception Pass where we camped:
