Day 117 – Let’s Play 1.5

With the suspended game being completed today that meant they pushed up the start time to 12:00 from the originally scheduled time of 12:30. The suspended game was completed around 1:30 and then the originally scheduled game started around 2:00. They did all of the pre-game ceremonies (ceremonial 1st pitch, anthems) in the morning before resuming the suspended game so in between games they just had the grounds crew working on preparing the field.

Luckily I wasn’t flying home until the next morning anyway, so the later finish didn’t really effect me. I stopped at a seafood restaurant by the harbour and just did some walking around before making my way back to the hotel to pickup my bags and catch a train to the airport. I then found a place to settle in at the airport for the night. They actually have a really nice waiting area in one section of the International Terminal of Baltimore airport. They have nice couches that you can actually lie on, unlike most airports where all they have is the connected seats that have armrests in the way. There are also tables to use as well as several electrical outlets in the area.
