Had about a 1 hr layover in Charlotte. Charlotte is one of the nice Airports to kill time at. There are good places to sit and work on your laptop w/an electrical outlet nearby. Plus the internet is free at the airport.
Once I arrived in Baltimore I took the train downtown as I was staying closer to downtown this time. My hotel was only about a 30 min walk from Camden Yards. When I went to check in the hostess told me that they had to do some repairs to the room I was supposed to stay in so she wanted to know if it was ok if they gave me a suite instead. Of course I was ok with that. I actually had a bedroom and a living room in my hotel room.
It was nice being able to walk back to my hotel rather than have to take the bus. The last time I was in Baltimore the bus I had to take to get to my hotel didn’t run all that often so if the game finished at the wrong time you could be in for a long wait.
