Spent the afternoon just walking around Arlington. Saw the new football stadium they are building, it is across the street from my hotel. They are building one with a retractable roof b/c apparently in order to get the superbowl in Dallas they needed a new stadium and it needed a roof. Don’t ask me why the NFL is worried about the weather in Dallas, even if it is Jan. It looks very big, not sure what the capacity is going to be though.
One thing I noticed walking around the concourse of the ballpark is all the picnic tables. They have a very large concourse area and they have setup a lot of picnic tables around the outer edge. It also looked like they had a much larger selection of choices for food than most ballparks. There was also like a mini park in the CF area with a bunch of activities setup for the kids.
